What we track on this site

Analytics

Google Analytics runs only on optimized.news. It records page views, Subscribe clicks, clicks through to sellers' price pages and how far down a page you scroll. It doesn't record your email address, your name or anything you type into a form.

Our subscribe forms don't store your email address. They take you to our signup page on Beehiiv, which manages the mailing list.

If you reach us from a link with campaign tags (UTM codes), your browser keeps the first set for 30 days so we can see which link brought you when you subscribe.

A subscribe reminder may appear when you leave a page. It shows at most once a week, never on your first visit, and not at all once you've subscribed.

What we don't use

We don't run the Meta Pixel or Microsoft Clarity.

Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs.
